Its worth it for the Eguide price. I wouldn't reccomend the physical copy unless your name is in it.
Which is why I got it, but unfortunately I was a victim of the poor editing I mentioned. There is an option in the menu to highlight all intractable objects rather than just holding down tab. Yeah but some things you dont find just by holding down tab. You have to be in sneak mode with enough Mechanical skill. I never would have known about the gun on the first map if it weren't for the guide.

On top of that riddled with lovely pictures and in game maps. That convinced me to order the hard copy version which to my surprise is even on discount.
