I almost gave up trying to figure out how to transfer from Book Shelf to my iPod nano when a simple direction such as "right click on your book icon" would have been so easy for the programmers to include.
Odds are, I overlooked that direction somewhere so for folks like me, it would be nice to have this direction on the Book Shelf page. The good is that audiobooks can be selected and listened to with reliable bookmarking to pick up where you left off. Thanks Blair email blackash aol. In Windows 10, this Overdrive does not work well. It does not download to where you expect it to so you can transfer it to a portable player. I have used Overdrive successfully for years in previous Windows versions, but this one is frustrating. I cannot seem to find help on how to work around or fix this either. Great when it works. All of my books and libraries have disappeared twice and now I have to download from a browser. I am using a surface pro. Overdrive is easy to use and gives the reader the possibility to borrow thousands of titles.
The reader can review the title before borrowing, read popular books and suggest titles that are not in the library. It is a good app. I have not been able to transfer a audiobook to my iPod since I purchased my new laptop.
And I have searched the internet to help with my issue and I can't find any help. And definitely no help on the Overdrive Site. This version of the Overdrive app is horrible.
On Windows 10 desktop, it constantly crashes with no error code. It will download the cover of a book, but no chapters, and the transfer button to put on my ipod is nowhere to be found. I love Overdrive on my phone and tablet and have downloaded it to my laptop with Windows It opens, I pick my library, sign in with Library Card I wish it would sync easier.
Not really how to do that. I would like to be able to have a book running on the computer that I can listen too while working at home, or driving. This app is great.
